Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Goalzenix — the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and web apps, and the sync service behind them. Using Goalzenix means accepting them. They are written to be read, so they are shorter than they could be.

Your account

You need an account only for syncing, sharing and the assistant connection; the app works without one. Keep your sign-in to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live.

Your content stays yours

Your tasks are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your content, move it between your devices, and show it to people you have explicitly shared a project with. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account. We claim no ownership and will not use your content to advertise to you.

Subscriptions

Goalzenix is free to use. Goalzenix Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly, that lifts the free plan's caps (5 projects and 3 saved filters) and unlocks the assistant connection, the Apple Reminders hand-off, and shared projects.

• It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and the price shown at purchase is charged each renewal.
• Bought in the app, payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. It renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends; the charge lands within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings — the app cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Bought on the web, Stripe handles the payment and you can cancel from the billing portal at any time.
• Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves Pro running to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, under the App Store's terms. Web purchases: write to us.

Prices can change, but not retroactively and not without notice before a renewal.

Fair use

Do not use Goalzenix to break the law, to store or send anything you have no right to, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not resell it as your own. Shared projects show your content to the people you invited — invite carefully.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work to keep Goalzenix running and your data intact, but it is provided as-is: we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will never lose data. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose — the CSV export exists for exactly this.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to Goalzenix is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be excluded — in Australia, that includes the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless of anything above.

Ending it

You can stop using Goalzenix and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that is breaking these terms or putting the service at risk, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

Changes, law, and contact

We will give notice in the app before these terms change materially. They are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to that jurisdiction — without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you.
